E. Howard No. 28 Marble Front Wall Regulator. 14 in. dial has a 12.5 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and red Arabic 5 minute markers outside, pierced black hands and dial signed E. Howard & Co. Boston. 8 day brass weight driven movement is signed E. Howard & Co. Boston, has brass pendulum bob with gilt wood stick, U-shaped lead weight and ebonized wood weight baffle. Marble front case has reverse painted throat glass with black background and gilt leaf borders and stars. Has a repair to the marble dial at 9 oÂclock. 30 in. high x 14 in. wide.

Howard & Co., Boston”, has black Roman hour numerals and black spade hands; brass weight driven time only No 5 movement signed “E. Howard & Co., Boston”, has a long wood pendulum stick with a brass covered bob, and good No.70 iron weight with brass pulley, the wood weight baffle is missing. In a refinished walnut case with hinged wood door bezel and original reverse painted lower tablet having red & black paint with gold leaf highlights and open aperture exposing the pendulum bob. original glass in good condition with no touchup or inpainting, slight loss to the gold leaf border. Seat board is a replacement. Movement is running. Dimensions: 30 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep. Weight: 21.95 lbs.

Howard & Co., Boston” has black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and ebonized bezel; brass weight driven movement signed “E. Howard & Co. Boston” has original iron weight, turned silvered wood stick with silvered bob and brass lockdown hardware. In a walnut wall hanging case having turned and carved finials, fluted and carved pediment, turned corner columns on the door with ebonized highlights. Case is in the original finish with wear to the ebonized trim on the wood and a crack in the left side glass. Dimensions: 46 in. high x 15 1/2 in. wide x 7 1/4 in. deep. Weight: 29.10 lbs.

Howard & Co., Boston” with long silvered wooden pendulum stick, silvered damascened bob, lockdown hardware on the wooden weight baffle, brass pulley and No. 2 iron weight. Damaskeened pendulum bob with wood stick. In a refinished oak case with carved crest, turned finials, carved frieze and corner spandrels around the dial and turned teardrop finials at the base. Dimensions: 63 in. high x 18.25 in. wide x 8 in. deep. Weight: 80.70 lbs.

In very good condition, case has a nice enhanced original finish with good patina, no breaks or repairs to the case, original glass in good condition with no touchup or inpainting. 35.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
