Chelsea ShipÂs Mantle Clock Set. 8 in. silvered dial signed ÂHardy & Hayes Co., Pittsburgh & ÂChelseaÂ, has black incised hour numbers and blued pierced hands; round brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂChelsea Clock Co., Boston, USAÂ, numbered 141392, has a lever escapement with a half hour strike on a coiled gong. In a forged brass case having a black finish, hinged door bezel and splayed bottom; carved mahogany back and base with leaf carving, dark red-brown original finish with spherical brass feet. Accompanied by a matching pair of 10 in. candlesticks signed ÂChelsea Clock Co.Â. In good running condition. 15.75 in. high x 15 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

Chelsea Tabmbour Mantle Clock. 5 in. silvered dial signed “Chelsea” and “Grogan Company, Pittsburgh” has applied brass hour numbers; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, USA, 100159 has an half hour strike on a coiled gong. In a bronze tambour style case with scroll work and turned feet. Silvered finish is worn, has some damage to the bezel hinge and the hinge pin is replaced with a nail, movement does not wind and is not running or striking. Dimensions: 8.75 in. high x 17.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep. Weight: 22.5 lbs.
