Chelsea “Tambour” Mantle Clock. The 4 inch dial has a silvered finish with applied Arabic numerals, signed “Chelsea Clock Co., Boston U.S.A.” & Ship’s bell, in good condition. In a gold gilded “tambour” style case in good condition. Clock winds but is not running, ship’s bell chime functions. Dimensions: 8.5 in. high x 18.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep. Weight: 16.75 lbs.

New York; spring driven movement with lever escapement, rack & snail strike mechanism with half hour strike on a coiled gong, signed Chelsea Clock Co. Boston, U.S.A. and numbered 135908. In a bronze tambour style case with scrolled sides and turned feet, gilt brass finish has some tarnish and minor wear showing copper undertones.
