Eli Terry, Jr., Plymouth, CT Column and Splat Stenciled Shelf Clock, wooden works, weight driven with double eagle stencil on splat, stenciled columns, reverse painted tablet with heart shaped apeture opening, hand painted dial. Measures approx. 31″ tall x 17″ wide x 4″ deep. Many Eli Terry Clocks which depict a home or building on the reverse painted glass tablet, are actual homes in the Town of Plymouth and surrounding Connecticut towns of the time period.

Charles Kirke Half Column Mantle Clock. Painted wood dial has a 10 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and gilt corner pieces, pierced hands; wooden works movement with count wheel strike mechanism with bell, iron weights and brass covered pendulum bob. In a mahogany case with acanthus fruit basket crest, pineapple finials, acanthus half columns, claw feet and reverse painted tablet in good condition with some minor inpainting. 30 in. high x 16 in. wide.
