Antique. An Eleven-Jewel Clock, having no Key. Working Condition is not Known. The Clock Itself Measures 4 1/4" Tall, 3 1/8" Wide, and 2 5/8" Deep. Marked "Shreve & Co., San Francisco" on the Dial. The Dial has some Light Cracks in it.

French Quarter Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 2 inch enamel dial has black hour and seconds hands, Roman hour numerals, and minute markers on the chapter ring; sub-dial below for the alarm. Signed on the dial, “Black Starr & Frost” and the movement, “Black Starr & Frost, New York.” Made in France. Quality brass movement with platform lever escapement. Switch on the bottom of the case for silent/ouarts. In a gilt brass case with hinged handle, beveled glass on the rear door, front, sides and aperture on top where the escapement can be viewed. Clock is running & repeater mechanism is functioning. Dimensions: Case finish is worn. 3 5/8 in. wide x 5 3/4 in. high x 3 1/8 in. deep. Weight: 3.75 lbs.

French Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. Polished gilt brass case with beaded borders around 4 beveled glasses, escapement exposed through the glass on the top. Fancy blued hands, metal dial with gilt surface, black Roman hour numerals and markers. Quality brass movement w/ silvered lever & platform escapement, strikes the hour and once on the half hour on a single coiled gong, balance swings briskly and gong strikes, thought the movement is not running. 7.5 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.

Hour Repeater French Carriage Clock. Porcelain dial has a 2 in. chapter ring with black Arabic hour numbers & black hands; brass spring driven French movement has lever platform escapement with good balance, hour strike mechanism strikes once on the half hour and hour repeater button on top of the case. The brass case has a fancy handle with reeded columns on the corners and beveled glass on the side and top exposing the escapement. In good running condition, has a chip in the front glass. 8 in. high x 4.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

French hour repeating carriage clock, brass case with beveled glass panels and silvered dial having Roman numerals, beveled glass has no damage, brass case is tarnished, silvered dial with wear, not running, strike and repeater working but are out of sync with the hands, 6.5 in. high x 4.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
