Caldwell & Co., New YorkÂ, has black hour numbers and fancy pierced engraved hands; brass double spring driven time only movement signed with Seth Thomas trademark and has a lever escapement with good balance wheel in running condition. In a green marble case with bronze bezel, dore bronze filigree and lionÂs head corners, green marble base standing on dore bronze fruit cluster feet. In good condition, has chips around the winding holes. 12 in. high x 16.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Marble & Dore Bronze Figural Mantle Clock. 3. 5 in. convex blue enamel painted metal dial with gilt stars and porcelain inserts with Roman hour numerals, gilt pierced hands; typical French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed LÂMarti et Cie, has an half hour count wheel strike on a bell. Case has gilt bronze figural putti with cupid holding the hand of a female figure and whispering into her ear, they lean against the timepiece in between them; on a carved white marble base with gilt bronze mounts, beaded trim and feet, signed on a metal tag inset in the back of the marble which reads ÂJ.V. et Fils Brevetes, Sgdg, ParisÂ. In good overall condition with no breaks or repairs to the marble or bronze. 12.5 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Marble & Bronze Eagle Ball Mantle Clock. Bronze figure of an eagle with wings spread over 4.5 in. dia. bronze sphere and on a stepped green marble base with bronze mounts. The front of the sphere is the clock dial with applied gilt brass Roman hour numerals and gilt snake hands; round brass spring driven time only movement with cylinder escapement. Black marble has a few breaks and repairs, front feet are broken off but we do have them, no hairlines in the dial. 17 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.
