Bronze Silk Thread Sunflower Clock. 2 tone bronze clock has a 2.5 in. dial with damascened center, black Roman hour numerals and large 5.25 in. flower petal bezel. Open back with a typical round brass spring driven silk thread movement with half hour strike on a bell, movement is dusty. The weighted base resembles a flower pot with 2 ringed handles on the sides, serpentine flower stem rises out of the pot with a dark brown patina and 4 gilt leaves on the sides. Rare and unusual clock in very good condition; missing pendulum. 13.25 in. high.

Quality 2 tone gilt and patinated bronze case has a figure of a black musician on one side and a standing tree to the left side, central dore bronze clock tower resembles a bookshelf with a music stand finial; the base has a brown patina with mounted dore bronze instruments, leafy trim and round feet.
