Bronze case in the form of a sedan chair, 2 tone gilt and silvered finish with beveled glass on 3 sides, oval repousse panels with figural putti and a scrolled crest with fleur-de-lis finial. 11 in. high x 4.5 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

French Gilt Bronze Carriage Clock. Fancy gilt brass case has figural putti on the corners with floral strands of garland stretched between them, domical top with beveled glass exposing the escapement and hinged handle, has beveled glasses on 4 sides with flowing filigree on the corners and base. Porcelain dial has a 2 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and pierced trefoil hands; brass spring driven movement has platform lever escapement and half hour strike on a steel bell. Clock is in good overall condition, clock strikes, balance wheel does not swing. 7.5 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.
