Bronze Repeater Carriage Clock. 2-inch enamel dial is surrounded by a gilt filigree engraved panel, has black Arabic numerals, brass 8-day spring driven movement with platform lever escapement. Signed on the dial, “West & Son, Dublin” and signed on the movement, “E.G.L Paris.” In a gilt bronze case with hinged handle, fluted corner columns having Corinthian capitals, beveled glass on the front, sides and aperture on top where the escapement can be viewed. Case finish is worn and tarnished in some areas. Missing rear door glass. Dimensions: 3 1/2 in. wide x 6 in. high x 3 3/8 in. deep. Weight: 4.10 lbs.

In a gilt brass case with hinge handle and beveled glass on the front, sides, rear door and top, exposing the escapement. French brass spring driven movement signed “Dent, France 1474” has a platform lever escapement, half hour bell strike with hour repeater button on top of the case and has an alarm mechanism. In a fine gilt bronze case with pierced decorated filigree, hinged handle, winged maiden’s heads and claw feet; beveled glass panels on the front, back and sides, exposing the escapement through the glass top.
