Chelsea ShipÂs Bell Desk Clock w/ Barometer. 3.5 in. silvered dial signed ÂChelsea ShipÂs Bell with black incised hour numbers and blued spade hands; typical 8 day brass spring driven movement signed ÂChelsea Clock Co., Boston, USA and numbered 232057, with lever escapement, has shipÂs bell strike on a coiled gong. Holosteric barometer has a 3.5 in. dial w/ open center and arched Fahrenheit thermometer. Both are in forged brass ships helm cases with hinged door bezels, long base standing on spherical brass feet and 2 tone case finish. In running condition, clock strikes, with some surface tarnishing and wear to the finish. 8.5 in. high x 14 in. wide x 3 in. deep.
