Original 5 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals and fancy blued hands; movement has pierced lyre shaped plates, 30 hour spring driven with large iron wagon spring mechanism in the bottom of the case, has an hour strike on a coiled gong and a replaced brass pendulum bob, movement is unsigned. In a mahogany double steeple case having a stepped tower form with conical turned finials and turned feet, reverse painted door glasses one with a fruit basket and one below with birds and filigree, upper door glass is repainted, case has some veneer repair, missing external glue block on the right side behind the finial and is refinished. In running condition. 24 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
