Has a 7 in. inset porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals and fancy pierced black hands, brass piecrust bezel; brass 8 day weight driven movement has an half hour strike on a coiled gong, long wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob, brass 4 spoke pulleys and brass covered weights. In an unusual rosewood serpentine Biedermeier style case with broken pediment crest having a turned finial, half columns on the door and carved lower bracket; enhanced original finish is in good general condition, dial has a few minor hairlines, glasses are replaced. Wax seal stamps on the back of the case, one reads ÂHerbert Bednarik Collection, Wien and the other is a coat of arms. 44 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep.

In a rosewood case having satinwood inlaid borders, 2 doors and glass sides, c. 1840; strike mechanism runs, time mechanism does not run, has a French polished finish, glasses are replaced and dial has a few minor chips around the holes, pendulum stick is repaired and has a split in the wood seat board bracket. 43 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
