French Belle Epoque Bronze Dore et Patine Figural Clock
fourth quarter 19th century, the finial composed of a lush basket of fruit and flowers, the clockworks flanked by a pair of patinated cherubim, standing on gilt-bronze scrolled brackets supported by the base, decorated with a swag of flowers and panels of grapevines, raised on leaf-molded feet, the works stamped by retailer, Singery, Paris.

French Figural Dore Bronze Clock. 3.5 in. Enamel dial has black Roman hour numerals and open moon hands; round French brass time and strike movement with count wheel strike mechanism, strikes on a bell; movement is signed Roblin & Fils, Freres, Paris. The dore bronze case shows a seated cherub representing Clio the muse of history, studying a book. Dial has chips at 3 & 9 on the edge, 10.5 in. high x 16 in. wide x 5 in. deep

Marble & Dore Bronze Figural Mantle Clock. 3. 5 in. convex blue enamel painted metal dial with gilt stars and porcelain inserts with Roman hour numerals, gilt pierced hands; typical French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed LÂMarti et Cie, has an half hour count wheel strike on a bell. Case has gilt bronze figural putti with cupid holding the hand of a female figure and whispering into her ear, they lean against the timepiece in between them; on a carved white marble base with gilt bronze mounts, beaded trim and feet, signed on a metal tag inset in the back of the marble which reads ÂJ.V. et Fils Brevetes, Sgdg, ParisÂ. In good overall condition with no breaks or repairs to the marble or bronze. 12.5 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
