An early 19th century Austrian Empire Period mantle clock. 8-day brass time and strike movement with porcelain dial and Roman numerals having quarter hour Grand Sonnerie chimes on two coiled gongs. Very decorative gilded wood multi-tier case with decorative vignettes, mirrors, Alabaster columns and Ebonized base in a Period wood and glass showcase. Some wear and minor loss, minor dial flaking, replaced finials, lacks music box from base, running momentarily when cataloged. 24 1/2" high in the case 28 1/2" overall. ESTIMATE $600-800

A 19th century Austrian Empire Period Portico clock with incorporated lower music box. 8-day three train time and strike movement with quarter hour strike, calendar hand, Brass dial with Roman numerals and engine turned bezel. Ebonized case with molded cornice supported by four fluted columns with gilded Bronze capitols and bases on a paneled base. Some paint wear and touch-up, replaced bun feet, music box plays, clock not running when cataloged. 20 1/4″ high.

Mid 1800 French Empire mantle clock, brass movement sets in open columns, sign F C, #1200, engraved dial, finely cast bezel, column capitols and mounts on frieze panel and base pediment, finely cast floral pendulum with shells and swans, ebonized finish, 19″t 10″w 5 1/2″d. Some old veneer repairs on base.

A turn of the century Austrian figural mantle clock by Andres & Dworsky, Karlstein an der Thaya, Austria. 8-day time only movement with a replaced wooden dial. Nicely carved Walnut case with Austrian Eagle motif, urn top finial and Paw foot base. Original finish with some wear, minor damage, lacks top finial arms and rear cover, replaced dial and hands, running when cataloged. 18 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $300-400

Austrian Silk String Musical Mantle Clock: the hours and quarter hours are struck on 2 bells. A small bell attached to the back plate is for the alarm. The music box in the case’s bottom is attached to the movement by a chord. It can be activated at any time the string is pulled. The porcelain dial with 4 key slots is 5 1/2″ wide. The music box is wound on the case’s lower left side. 2 keys are with it.
(The dial has minor problems. The gold portions have been repainted.
