Circa 1880 American Atkins Clock Company 8 Day Mantel Clock with 5″ Repainted dial, Spring driven brass movement, Mahogany case with stepped architectural base, blind panel door in base, turned half spindles with gilded reverse painted door glass. Good looking case with nice glasses, backboard replaced. 15.75″H x 12″W x 5″D

Atkins London Model Shelf Clock w/ Alarm. 5 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals, blued spade hands and open center cutout exposing the brass alarm indicator disc; brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour count wheel strike mechanism striking an iron bell, separate spring driven alarm mechanism strikes on the same bell. In a rosewood cottage style case with cornice top, turned half columns reverse painted & gilt decorated dial glass and tablet with lower trap door exposing the pendulum. Dial has some paint loss around the outer edge, glasses have some light inpainting, case is in nice original finish and signed with a paper label in the back. 16.5 in. high x 12 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
