Asa Munger Mirror Shelf Clock. Original 8 in. painted iron dial with sub seconds dial & black open moon hands, pierced brass 8 day weight driven movement with hour count wheel drop hammer strike on a bell at the top of the movement with original patented pulleys, lead side weights and brass eagle pendulum bob. In a beautiful mahogany empire style case with overhanging top mounted with gilt brass teardrop spheres, gilt turned and carved half columns, reverse painted glass over the dial and large lower mirror panel. Signed with a paper label inside of the case for ÂA. Munger, AuburnÂ, case is refinished, strike cable is broken. 39 in. high x 23 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

A 19th century Asa Munger (Munger’s Patent) shelf clock. 8 day time and strike weight driven Brass movement with painted metal dial. Mahogany case with shaped “Ironing Board” top, single door with reverse painted upper and mirrored lower glasses, flanked by carved half columns. Refinished in good condition, repainted dial and upper door glass, partial label. 39 1/2″ high.

Asa Munger Mahogany Mirror Clock. Original 8 in. painted iron dial with black hour numbers, blued open moon hands, sub seconds dial with original fancy brass hand; pierced brass 8 day A. Munger weight driven movement has an hour strike on a bell at the top of the movement, brass pulleys with original iron side weights and brass eagle pendulum bob. Beautiful mahogany case has an enhanced original finish, carved overhanging top, carved corner rosettes, spiral turned half columns, original mirrored tablet and original Âcopper mica decorated panel on tin around the dial. 39.5 in. high x 22.25 in. wide x 8 in. deep.
