Oval brass case with hinged handle, scenic hand painted curved porcelain panels on the sides and rear door, flat porcelain dial panel with 1″ dial having black Roman hour numerals and bowed beveled glass on the front and top, viewing the escapement; case marked “Depose” on the bottom. English Brass Spring Driven Miniature Carriage Clock. 1 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and signed Taylor & Bligh, England; has a brass spring driven time only movement with platform lever escapement, in good running condition, balance swings with nice brisk motion, movement signed Made in England, 11 Jewels. In a miniature brass carriage clock case with hinged handle on top, beveled glass in the front, back, sides and top exposing the escapement; has an overall polished gilt brass finish. Good running condition, no breaks, chips or cracks to the dial or glass, case finish has some light tarnish. 4.25 in. high to the top of the handle x 2 in. wide x 1.75 in. deep.
