A 1930’s French Art Deco wall clock by Vedette. 8-day time and strike movement with quarter hour Westminster chimes and Silvered metal dial. Oak case with carved detail and beveled lower glass. Old finish with some wear. Running when cataloged. 28″ high.

French Art Deco Clock w/ Lady and Fawn on a Brown Mottled Marble Case: time and bell striking movement is marked F. Marti 859. The silver diamond shaped dial has names Charlier Milly and is 4 1/2″ x 6 1/2″.
The clock is 12 1/2″t x 21 1/2″w and running at this time.
(The finish on the metal figures is showing minor wear.)

French Double Figural Swinger Clock. 2 Standing cast metal maiden figures wear long robed garments, one holds a bunch of wheat in her hand and the other holds a bunch of cat tails, standing side by side and facing slightly inward, they each hold up a branching arm between which meats at the post on which the pendulum swings. The gridiron pendulum is 19 in. long, the spring driven 8 day movement is contained within the silvered tub at the top of the pendulum behind the 3.25 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals on the chapter ring, Arabic 5 minute markers outside and blued spade hands; movement signed with Guilmet (GLT) mark and numbered 5183. In good condition with a deep brown finish on the base. 23.5 in. high x 16 in. wide x 7 in. deep.
