German Gustav Becker Unusual Burl Walnut Westminster Chime Wall Clock, Circa 1925, 7″ silvered & painted dial, 8-day, brass Westminster chime movement, beautiful & collectible ormolu mounted burl walnut case inlaid with rosewood, basswood & mother of pearl with oval beveled glass glazed door, very well made clock using the finest of materials, G. Becker was one of the top German clockmakers of the late 19th & early 20th centuries & was eventually absorbed into the Junghans Clock Co., overall great condition, minor wear on dial near 10 o’clock. Height 34″.
