Ansonia Porcelain Crystal Regulator No. 1. Fancy black hands, 4 in. porcelain dial w/ Arabic numerals, exposed garnet Brocot escapement with steel pallets, brass bezel and mercurial pendulum. Typical Ansonia 8 day spring driven movement signed Ansonia Clock Co, strikes on a single coiled gong. In a crystal regulator case with Royal Bonn Porcelain top and bottom in luster green with gold highlights; the body of the case has beveled glass and gilt brass framing; case is unsigned. In good condition with no breaks, cracks, chips or hairlines in the case or glass, movement is running and striking. 17 in. high x 9 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.
