Description

Ansonia Mahogany Swing Clock No. 2. Turned and tapered octagonal base with a long stem, turned finial and brass post on which the pendulum sits; the pendulum has a bonnet top with carved arched front, tapered shaft with carved bob, brass 8 day spring driven time only typical Ansonia swinger movement signed “Ansonia Clock Co., A22” is contained in the top of the pendulum with a 4 in. x 3.25 in. silvered dial signed Ansonia with black hour numbers and fancy pierced hands. In good working condition, has an original finish with no breaks or repairs. 23 in. high.
