Brass time only spring driven movement, repousse filigree brass covered pendulum bob; movement is inverted with long drop pendulum hanging from the top with crutch pointing upwards and escapement at the bottom of the movement, signed ÂChauncey Jerome, New Haven, ConnÂ. In a mahogany case with dark alligatored finish, original reverse painted door glass having some minor inpainting and overall white paint spatters. 12 in. high.
