Ansonia Figural “Don Caesar” Mantle Clock. Standing spelter figure of Don Caesar drawing his sword; to the right is a spleter clock tower with relief design, hinged side handles and finial top. 4.5 in. inset porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, fancy gilt pierced hands and exposed Brocot escapement; 8 day, spring driven movement signed Ansonia Clock Co. with half hour strike on a coiled gong. Case and iron enamel base are refinished, hairlines in dial, 1 jeweled and 1 steel pallet in escapement, movement running and striking, replaced pendulum, right side handle repaired. 22″ high x 19″ wide x 9″ deep. Ansonia Double Figural Mantle Clock  Standing spelter figures of Don Caesar & Don Juan each holding a sword and in traditional dress, a tall clock tower stands between them with finial top, handles on the sides and relief filigree design, on a black enameled iron base standing on claw feet; original finish has some flaking and surface corrosion. 4 in. inset porcelain dial with gilt pierced hands and exposed Brocot escapement having jeweled pallets; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂAnsonia Clock Co., New YorkÂ, has an half hour strike on a coiled gong. No hairlines in the dial, missing minute hand, missing pendulum, movement is running and striking. 19 in. high x 25 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
