Gilt cast metal case has French Rococo filigree design with inset painted porcelain panel with a woman seated by a pond and a winged cherub whispering in her ear. 3 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals, signed with Ansonia Trade Mark, has a brass, spring driven movement signed ÂAnsonia Clock Co., New York, USAÂ. In good condition with no breaks or repairs. 14.25 in. high x 8 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Stamped on the back plate is Patented June 18, 1882 and Ansonia Clock Co., ornately shaped iron frame with faux marble finish, painted iron scroll feet and stylized shell crown, ornate brass face and door, 13″ tall by 7 1/2″ wide.
