Large and impressively made antique American Victorian mantel clock, produced by Ansonia Clock Co. (New York). Gilt bronze with a separate figural sculpture, a female subject in a Neoclassical depiction of Justice or similar Greco Roman principle. Clock housed in ornately crafted case body with raised bas relief floral, fruit, and scrolling forms, and a large floral finial. Movement case verso stamped PATENTED 18, 1882.

Antique American Victorian mantel clock, produced by Ansonia Clock Co. (New York). An ornate red polychrome bronze cabinet with profuse gilding embellishments to scrolling side forms, scrolling front legs, and ornate scrolling finial. Movement case verso stamped PATENTED 18, 1882.

Antique Ansonia, New York brass arched case mantel clock. Relief floral Nouveau designs to exterior of case. Has gold tone face with black Arabic numerals. Movement marked ‘ANSONIA CLOCK CO NEW YORK USA’. Numbered 1 over 54. Includes pendulum. Measures 10 3/8″ height x 7 3/8″ width x 4 1/4″ depth (26.3cm x 18.7cm x 10.7cm). Total weight of 4.88 kilograms.

Circa 1900 French Serres, (sculptor), H star B trademark, Paris 8 day Mantel Clock with 4″ Original enamel dial, Spring driven brass movement with bell strike, L. Histoire par Serres (SCLPTr) figural mantel clock, depicting female figure with history books. Signed by sculptor S. Serres. Enamel dial with Art Nouveau orchid decoration. Variegated red marble base. Very good restored condition, with touch up to gilt finish, with a few minor flakes on the round marble base, movement need minor repairs lacking pendulum. 28″H x 11″W x 11″D

Circa 1910 American Unsigned 8 Day Mantel Clock with 3″ Original flat dial with hairlines, Circular spring driven brass movement with gong strike, Art Nouveau Plaster of Paris figural mantel clock with bronzed finish depicting the mythological “KLIO”. Fair condition with minor flaws, right foot crack reglued and a few chips. Needs cleaning. 21″H x 10″W x 9″D
