A Rare French Art Deco Skyscraper Clock Set, Bonnet & Pottier
High design Art Deco period three piece mantel garniture set, created with green onyx, black slate, and gilt brass metal. The gold and black color clock face covered with brass and beveled glass cover. Marked: Made in France, 1039, Bonnet & Pottier, Fini Paris. Side pieces 10" tall, Clock 13.5" tall.

French Airs Carillon Art Deco Clock: Time, Strike and Alarm with a metal dial; signed “Airs Le Carillon Besancon”. With 10 bar chime, the pendulum and keys. In a beautiful Art Deco French case. (The owner’s note reads “Bought from Jakob Geiaschivili in Sr. Wendel, Germany. German movement in a French case, movement rebuilt in 2007….” Has not been tested. Sells as is, where is.

Signed Pottier & Stymus Carved Parlor Floor Clock. Renaissance Revival rosewood case has an arched carved crest with side corbels, ebonized with gilt incised & carved highlights; the front has an oval porcelain plaque with winged putti over a raised panel with brass hanging ribbon & filigree mounts with ewer, tray & teapot, inset side panels have hanging ribbon and filigree brass mounts. Case is in untouched original condition with some minor losses to the carvings and trim. The top of the case has a bronze figural bust of Cleopatra, with locks of hair hanging below her winged and feathered bird headdress; has a nice dark brown patina, birds head is missing, hole pierced into the back of the plinth for accessing mounting screw, 11.75 in. high. 5 in. rouge marble dial with black marble inner ring signed ÂPottier & Stymus, New YorkÂ, gilt spade hands, applied brass Roman hour numerals (missing 6 – ÂVIÂ); has a typical round brass spring driven French movement signed ÂLÂMarti & CieÂ, half hour bell strike on a steel bell. 81 in. high x 24 in. wide x 12.5 in. deep.

A 1930's French Art Deco Period three piece clock set. Good quality 8-day time and strike movement with gilded dial and stylized numerals. Rouge and Black marble construction with a patinated spelter sculpture and vases by "Geo, Maxim" and gilded Bronze mounts. Minor wear, recently cleaned and oiled, winds, sets and running when cataloged. Up to 17 1/2" high. ESTIMATE $800-1,200.
