Chelsea Ship’s Bell Clock. 8.5 in. silvered dial signed “Chelsea, Ship’s Bell”, has black incised hour numbers and open moon hands; quality round brass spring driven movement signed “Chelsea Clock Co., Boston, USA” and numbered 527160, has lever escapement and ship’s bell strike on a coiled gong. In a forged brass case with flared door bezel measuring 10 in. dia. and mounted in a mahogany bracket. Nice condition, running and striking. 12.25 in. high x 13.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep. Weight: 21.25 lbs.
