Original 18″ painted metal dial signed “Seth Thomas” has black Roman hour numbers, fancy black painted pierced spade hour hand and pointer minute hand with counterbalance and sub seconds dial; pierced brass 15 day time only double spring driven movement signed with Seth Thomas trade mark and stamped with number “50”, has Graham deadbeat escapement, wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob. Oak wall hanging case with arched crest having a carved half fan, quarter fan corner spandrels on the door and lower bracket with spindled supports and turned acorn finials. Enhanced original finish, missing crest finials, dial with some paint loss, lower bracket has some regluing, movement running. 39″ high x 25.25′ wide x 8″ wide. Weight: 31.5 lbs.
