Mixed gilt bronze and brass case clock, flower and butterfly finial, standing figural cherub with torch, quiver of arrows. Lower case with neoclassical cherub scene in medallion over butterfly and floral band, all on four feet. Painted Roman numerals dial, unmarked time and strike movement. Overall 16" h. x 12.25" x 4.5".

Antique French Empire figural gilt bronze mantle clock beautifully crafted with a Neoclassical barefoot woman holding a cornucopia and flowers in each hand. Seated atop a pedestal and foot rest next to a floral mounted globe. Footed base features a bas relief cherub scene to front. Clock features a hand painted porcelain Roman Numeral dial with Arabic hour & minute hands. Numbered to movement & casing. Circa: Early 19th Century. Measures: 11-3/8" W x 4-1/8" D x 16" H. French Empire figural gilt bronze mantle clock. Gilt bronze figural Grecian winged female figure, seated with a butterfly resting on one shoulder, holding up part of her dress. Circular gilt Roman numeral dial with hour and minute hands, having a naturalistic rocaille surround atop a rectangular plinth base, with applied plaque to the front and scrolling bracket feet. Works marked G. B. and "6." 18 1/2" H x 12 3/8" W x 4 1/2" D. 19th century.
Deaccessioned by the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Foundation to benefit the acquisitions fund.
