Welch Ripple Case Beehive Clock, Circa 1860, 6″ professionally repainted dial, 8-day, brass spring driven movement with alarm, rosewood case having piecrust ripple molding, reverse stencil door features heraldic crest, listed in “The American Clock” by Diston & Bishop on page 343, excellent overall condition, professionally repainted dial, movement complete and in fine working order. Height 18 3/4″.
