Wood Works Bronzed Looking Glass Clock, Circa 1830, 12″ original painted wood dial, 30-hour, wood movement, bronzed looking glass clock with excellent label stating “Patent Clocks Invented by Eli Terry, Manufactured & Sold by Seymour Williams & Porter”, good restored condition, stenciling & glasses, nicely painted original dial faded a bit. Height 34 1/4″.

A rare balance wheel operated spring driven painted cast iron and nacre inlay 10 1/2″ cottage timepiece signed on the dial “N. Pomeroy, Bristol, CT.” Noah Pomeroy 1813-1896 worked alone in Bristol, Connecticut 1858-1878.
