Description

Seth Thomas Regulator No. 31. Has an 18 in. painted metal dial with black Arabic hour numbers and gilt painted bezel, sub seconds dial, fancy pierced and blued hour and pointer minute hand with counter weight, dial is signed Seth Thomas. Quality, brass, time only, 8 day, weight driven movement No. 68, has pyramidal plates, Graham dead-beat escapement, beat adjustment at the top of the movement and maintaining power; has a long drop pendulum with ebonized wood stick and brass covered bob, brass beat indicator, quality brass weight & pulley. In a large mahogany case with turned finials at the top, inset back panel and carved lower bracket with teardrop finials. In very good condition and original finish. 68 in. high x 25 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
