Description
Seth Thomas Lunar Oak Wall Clock. Painted metal dial has a 9.5 in. chapter ring with black Arabic hour numbers, spade hands, gilt filigree spandrels and moon phase dial; pierced brass lyre shaped weight driven movement with half hour strike on a coiled gong with coiled mounting bracket, movement signed S. Thomas, Thomaston CT. has brass covered weights, & pendulum bob with wood pendulum stick. Carved oak case with broken arched crest, turned finial in the center and turned columns on either side of the door with teardrop finials at the bottom. In good condition and original finish. 36 in. high x 19 in. wide x 16.5 in. deep.
