Lobby Clock. 18 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numbers, fancy blued pierced spade hour hand and pointer minute hand with counterbalance, sub seconds dial and signed Seth Thomas, U.S.A.; 15 day brass double spring driven time only movement, number 24 has Graham deadbeat escapement with jeweled pallets, wood pendulum stick and brass covered bob. In an oak case with carved door front with raised panels & rosette, arched crest with turned finials and original door glass, paper label in the bottom of the case. In good general condition refinished, movement missing Geneva stops and movement replaced. 38 in. high x 25 in. wide x 8 in. deep.

Seth Thomas 18″ Lobby Hanging Clock: mahogany case with movement signed and also marked Baird Clock Co, Platsburg, N.Y. The 18″ dial is original.
(There are chips by the dials screw holes and an added hole above the hands. Also a chip on the dial surface.)
38″ x 25 1/4″ and running at this time.

Description
Seth Thomas 18″ Lobby Hanging Clock: mahogany case with an 18″ dial and time and strike movement. The case has a brass presentation plaque that reads, “This clock was bought by subscriptions of members in commemoration of the Queens Diamond Jubilee 1897. The dial is marked D. H. Turner Ilkeston and Seth Thomas USA.
(The wood finish is showing some wear on the left side and top.)
