New Haven Clock Co. Deco “Saturn” Novelty Clock. A turned 6.5 in. dia. sphere with a swiveling studded halo standing on 3 splayed and tapered legs with brass feet. 4 in. inset porcelain dial signed New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., USA with black hour numbers and exposed Brocot escapement with steel pallets; round brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour rack & snail strike on a bell. Dial has hairlines, time mechanism is running, strike is not running, 2 jar mercurial pendulum is incomplete. 12 in. high x 11 in. wide x 7 in. deep. Weight: 4.25 lbs.
