French August Moreau/S. Marti Large Balloon Flight Figural Victorian Table Clock, Circa 1889, 3 1/4″ enamel dial, slightly convex, 8-day, circular brass movement with Marti medallion, rare & unusual allegorical North Pole balloon expedition figural clock made for the 1889 Paris exposition, heavy red variegated marble base, with seahorses, bears, walrus, balloon in clouds with ribbons & “Gloria the Victor” pointing towards North Pole holding torch, plaque on case reads “Aug. Moreau AU NORD POLE” — August Moreau was one of the most celebrated sculptors of his time, this is a wonderful clock depicting the exciting times of attaining passage to the North Pole, very good restored condition, the dial has flaking near winding arbors & looks good, case refinished. Height 34″.

Victorian era figural Cast Iron front mantel clock. The patinated case front in Rococo style with depictions of a partially nude woman and a cherub playing a harp. Raised above a Dolphin base, with scrolled rocailled and floriate decorations. Has Paper over Metal dial with Roman numerals behind convex glass door. Case measures approx. 19-1/4″H x 13-1/2″W x 4″D. French Establisment Petit Unusual Figural Dore Bronze Mantle Clock, Circa 1830, 3″ engraved silvered dial, 8-day, small caliber circular brass movement with trademark, rare & unusual dore’ bronze mantle clock, depicting a formally dressed Viennese woman holding a silver cat in her lap, a very early clock with high definition and detail, very good condition with some darkening to the silver. Call it patina! Height 16″.
