Mantle Clock. 6 in. paper dial has black Roman hour numerals and pierced black painted hands; original 6 in. paper lower moon phase dial has a brass indicator and signed ÂManufactured by the Macomb Calendar Clock Co.Â, lower perpetual calendar mechanism has an iron frame with 4 barrels of various sizes indicating the ÂdayÂ, ÂmonthÂ, and 2 digit ÂdateÂ; brass spring driven movement has a half hour strike on a coiled gong, long drop pendulum with 2 tone brass bob. In a carved walnut case with nice crest. Original finish, clock is in good working condition. 30 in. high x 14 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

GaleÂs Patent ÂArditi Double Dial Calendar Mantle Clock. Original 8 in. paper time dial has black Roman hour numerals and black spade hands; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed E.N. Welch, has an hour countwheel strike on a coiled gong, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. Lower 8 in. calendar dial has 31 date numbers and sub-dials indicating the day & month; GaleÂs patented perpetual calendar mechanism is in good running condition and signed with paper label in the back of the case. Carved walnut case has pierced carved gallery crest with side corbel along the door; in excellent condition and original finish. 27.5 in. high x 17.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Gilbert Office Drop Calendar Clock. 12 in. Paper dial, comprised of 3 discs, the front disc contains the chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals and outer ring with 31 date calendar signed Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted, Ct. has cutouts for the second disc containing the sequential days of the week with Sunday highlighted in red and finally a cutout at the top exposing the months; the red date indicator moves automatically while the clock is running and the rear dials are manually adjusted at each months end, dials have some typical wear from age. Has a brass, 8 day, time only movement with recoil escapement, brass covered pendulum bob and wood stick. In a walnut case having a crest with fancy scroll carvings, leaf, rosette and cornucopia carving below, revere painted lower door glass and lower crest with sea shell carving. In original finish and good running condition. 33.5 in. high

American Seth Thomas Rare & Unusual “Office Calendar #5″, Circa 1885, 14” original painted dials, minor flaking on dials, 8-day, brass weight driven calendar movement, very rare large walnut calendar clock with unique burl panels & unusual carving, upper dial has advertising for “John Finzer & Bros. Boot Jack Tobacco”, an advanced collector’s item with 1876 centennial patent date, excellent refinished condition with repairs to bottom case door, movements need cleaning & seem to work well. Height 47″.
