Ithaca no. 8 shelf library calendar clock with 8-day time and strike movement and separate lower calendar movement, has club tooth escape wheel with half-deadbeat escapement, movement signed "E.N. Welch and Made for the Ithaca Calendar Clock Co," original lower calendar dial, upper paper dial removed and painted, walnut case has been refinished, calendar is sticky and does not advance with the hands but does when the rod is moved up and down manually, hands and pendulum are original, calendar hand has been painted red, backboard is original with the hinges being a later addition, running, strike functional. 27 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep.

A late 19th century Ithaca "No. 6 Hanging Library" model calendar wall clock. 8-day time and strike movement with lower calendar mechanism and papered metal dials. Walnut case with Burled panels, nickeled bezel doors and shaped lower drop. Refinished with minor wear, replaced crown and backboard, repapered upper dial, some discoloration on lower, running when cataloged. 32 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $200-300

Ithaca No. 8 Shelf Library Double Dial Clock. 6 in. time dial has a replaced paper dial, has proper pierced black hands; brass spring driven movement made by E.N. Welch for Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. has a count wheel strike mechanism with a coiled gong. Lower 8 in. painted metal calendar dial with 31 date chapter ring, open apertures for the day and month cylinders and cutout exposing the pendulum bob, signed ÂManufactured by the Ithaca Calendar Clock Co. Ithaca, NY. Good calendar mechanism with original labels, in good working condition. Walnut case with pierced carved crest and raised paneled embellishments, one panel missing. Original finish. 26.5 in. high x 12 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
