third quarter 19th century, mounted with a figure of Venus, with pearls in her hair, attended by cherubs, the clock dial with a bezel supporting swags of roses, the rounded case with bas-relief plaques of frolicking putti, framing a central plaque of a wreath with a quiver and torch, the sides with berry vines.

DESCRIPTION: French Empire style Napoleon clock with fire gilt and patinated bronze case depicting Napoleon with sword in hand, firing a cannon atop a craggily rock base, clock further designed with medallion scenes of Napoleon conquering and armory motifs, raised on foliate wreath footed vases. Clock marked: "P.P. About A Gonesse" with pendulum movement.

second quarter 19th century, the central clock case decorated with angels flanking an oil lamp, a classical maiden to one side and a lyre on a curule footstool on the other, the base decorated with a procession of putti, one being drawn in a chariot and fanned with palm fronds by a winged putto, mounted with a silk-string suspension movement.
