A 1960/70 vintage Pillar & Scroll shelf clock Model 126, by the Colonial Clock Co., Zeeland, MI. 8-day time and strike movement with painted wooden dial and quarter hour Westminster chimes. Mahogany case with scrolled top, turned wooden finials, single long door with painted lower glass by Tom Moberg, flanked by turned columns on a scrolled base. Original finish with minor wear. Running when cataloged. 28 1/2″ high.

Brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with applied brass hour numbers, silvered sub seconds dial, sub dials for Chime/Silent & Westminster/Whittington, etched gilt and pierced brass filigree decorated center, corner spandrels and moon phase dial at the top, dial signed ÂColonial Mfg. Co. Zeeland, Mich. USAÂ; brass weight driven movement has Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, 3 brass pulleys, brass covered weights, 3 jar cut glass mercurial pendulum, chimes on 8 tubes and strikes the hour on a ninth tube, movement signed Colonial Mfg. Co., 7710. In a mahogany case with pyramidal crest, long tapering turned side columns, beveled glasses on the front doors, side doors and side panels; has an enhanced original finish, missing bun feet. 95.5 in. high x 28 in. wide x 18.5 in. deep.
