A late 19th century French "Char du Progres" (Chariot of Progress) model swinging arm figural clock by Andre Romain Guilmet, Paris. 8-day time only movement within a Brass cannister form body with porcelain dial and Roman numerals with compensating pendulum and Gilded mounts, rear plate with "G L T" trademark, serial #9067. "Char du Progres" Spelter figure after Laroux with dark Brown patina and Marbleized turned wooded plinth. Some wear to the original finish, running when cataloged. 24" high.
