Half columns, stenciled, splat top, hand painted dial, reverse painted and stenciled glass, very nice label “Patent Clocks, Mand and Sold by Ephraim Downs, Bristol, Conn.”, wooden works, weight driven, key wind, pendulum clock, measures approx. 26 1/2″ tall x 16 1/2″ wide x 5″ deep.

Henry Terry Stenciled column and splat shelf clock, c. 1830. Stenciled half columns and splat with fruit bowl, hand painted dial with raised gilt, reverse painted glass tablet with heart-shaped apeture, claw feet, nice label with American Eagle “Patent Clocks, Invented by Eli Terry, Made and Sold at Plymouth, Connecticut by Henry Terry”. 30 hour wooden works weight driven shelf clock. Measures approx. 30″ high x 18″ wide x 5″ deep.

A 19th century Ephraim Downs column shelf clock. 30 hr weight driven time and strike wooden movement with painted wood dial. Mahogany case with shaped crown, single long door with lower glass, flanked by turned, Stenciled pilasters. Paper label 80% intact. Refinished with minor wear, repainted columns and restored crown. 31 1/2″ high.

A mid 19th century Column shelf clock by Ephraim Downes, Bristol, Conn. 30-hour weight driven time and strike wooden movement with painted wooden dial. Mahogany case with scrolled crest, single door with reverse painted lower glass flanked by stenciled half columns on turned feet. Old finish with some wear, lower glass a good older replacement. Not running when cataloged. 30 3/4″ high.
