French Industrial Marble & Bronze Bell Clock. Beautiful desk clock in the form of a large bell; silvered bronze bell with studded oak yoke and gilt bronze frame; on a rouge marble base, bell is engraved Âvae mihi si non evangelisavero (Woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel). Centered in the front of the bell is a 3 in. silvered dial with black Roman hour numerals; typical round French brass spring driven movement signed ÂJapy Freres & CieÂ, lever platform escapement is running and has an half hour strike on a gong. 15 in. high x 11.25 in. wide x 8.25 in. deep. Weight: 27 lbs.

A HIGHLY IMPORTANT BRONZE INDUSTRIAL CLOCK made in 1906 for the Paris-Lyon-Mediterranean Railway inauguration of The Simpton Orient Express. The locomotive with two figures of Mercury showing the way, MercuryÂs hand on the clock dial. (See ÂLa Pendule FrancaiseÂ, Henri-Gustave Lengellé Tardy 1969, p497) 21 inches high, 16 inches wide, 16 inches deep, on a marble top stand, the front with initials ÂPLMÂ, 48 inches high.

A bronze sculpture of Moses after Michelangelo. Depicted seated and holding the tablet of the Commandments. “p4A.com note: this bronze sculpture was likely produced by the Barbedienne Foundry in Paris. The sculpture is 18” tall. Circa 1838-1952.  The clock’s dimensions are 13.5 W x 8.5 H x 7 L. SELLING THE CLOCK AS IS! We are not sure if it works or not!

Marble, Onyx And Bronze Mantle Clock. 4 in. porcelain dial with rouge marble center and brass filigree overlays, beveled door crystal; typical round brass spring driven movement with half hour strike on a coiled gong. In a massive onyx and rouge marble case with dome top, bronze and chempleve enamel mounts. In very nice condition, movement is running, has key and pendulum. 29 in. high x 17 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep. Weight: 57 lbs.
