Original 8 in. paper dial signed Ansonia Clock Co., New York, United States of America with black Roman hour numerals, blued spade hands and sub seconds dial; brass 8 day double spring driven time only movement has pierced silvered plates signed Ansonia Clock Co. with deadbeat escapement, long ebonized wood pendulum stick with a brass covered bob with brass beat indicator. In a carved mahogany case with filigree and turned spheres on the crest, pendant side corbels and carved lower bracket with turned spherical finials; in good condition, has an enhanced alligatored original finish. 50 in. high x 14 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
