Description
Ansonia “King” Oak Parlor Clock: With a signed T&S movement; a paper dial marked “A”; a decorated glass door and a nickel target pendulum.
The clock is running and striking at this time.
(There is no key with the clock. The dial has yellowed.)

Description
Ansonia King Oak Mantle Clock: 8 day time with half hour gong striking movement and a bell striking alarm. The 6″ dial has darkened. In an oak case with gold painted lions and lady mask. With key. On the case’s back is a large label declaring the clock model was an award winner at the 1878 Paris Exposition.
(Has been refinished. A grating sound is heard with the strike.)

23 1/2″ tall X 13 3/4″ wide X 4 3/4″ deep, Ansonia Clock Co., “King”, 8-day time and strike black walnut shelf clock, circa 1880, original dial has faded, painted door has minimal loss. In walnut with printed paper dial with Ansonias Trade Mark symbol and Manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co., New York, United States of America with arch top case with Minerva head in pediment and lion masks at top of full fluted columns. Original tablet with peacock and other birds and landscape. Brass time & strike 8-day spring driven movement, original key and pendulum, 24 x 13.5 x 4.75.

Fine currently running. Mr. Vallee had most of his clocks in running order but Forsythes’ does not guarantee working condition on any clocks or watches.
