Standing figure of a woman wearing long robes, she holds a string of game birds in her right hand and the pendulum up in her left; the long gridiron pendulum swings from an Âx suspension on a post in the figures hand, has a 4 in. spherical dial at the top containing the 8 day spring driven time only movement signed ÂAnsonia Clock Co.Â. In good condition, movement is running. 24.5 in. high.

Ansonia Figural Huntress Swing Clock. Standing white metal figure of a woman holding a string of birds in her right hand, her dress flowing in the wind and her left hand holds up the swinging pendulum. Gridiron pendulum has the 8 day, spring driven movement singed ÂAnsonia Clock Co. & contained in the sphere at the top, behind the dial with applied brass Arabic numbers and fancy pierced hands. Pendulum swings on a cross suspension (broken) below the dial. In original finish having some wear from age, no breaks or repairs to the figure. 25 in. high.

Ansonia Figural Diana Swing Clock. Standing white metal figure of Diana the Huntress, she is wearing a robe and holds a bow with a quiver of arrows at her left side, in her right hand she holds the gridiron pendulum which has the 8 day, spring driven movement contained in the sphere at the top, behind the dial with applied brass hour numbers and fancy pierced hands. Pendulum swings on a cross suspension below the dial. The figure has a nice clean finish with no breaks or repairs to the figure. 30 in. high.

American Ansonia Clock Co. “Huntress” Swing Arm Mystery Clock, Circa 1895, 4″ can” painted dial, 8-day, brass spring driven movement, patinated spelter sculpture of Diana, the Huntress, mounted on black lacquer base, brass turned neoclassical accents on swing mechanism arm, refer to “Ansonia Clocks & Watches” by Tran Duy Ly, page 699 #2986, excellent condition. Height 24 1/2″.

Ansonia Double Figural Swing Clock. Figural huntress & fisher standing figures, one holds a string of game birds and the other a string of fish, their opposite hands hold up a pierced arch which is mounted with the post on which the pendulum swings, stands on a black enameled iron base with claw feet. The mystery swinging 3 rod gridiron pendulum contains the 8 day spring driven movement and 3.5 in. paper dial in the upper cylinder with a porcelain inset in the pendulum bob. In running condition, pendulum bob porcelain insert is a replacement, figures are refinished and the Âfisher figure is missing the fish from the string. 24.5 in. high x 12 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
