E. Howard No. 70 Wall Regulator. Beautiful reproduction clock by famous maker Wayne Cline, 2nd half 20th century. 18 in. painted metal dial signed E. Howard & Co., Boston, black Roman hour numerals and blued spade hands; brass 8 day weight driven movement signed Wayne Cline, Bowling Green, KY, has an anchor escapement , brass pulley, iron No. 70 weight, long gilt painted wood pendulum stick with engraved brass covered bob and wood weight baffle. In a cherry case with flanged door bezel, carved shoulder and long drop with red, black & gold leaf reverse painted tablet in the lower door; case is signed Wayne Cline, 2. In good overall condition and original finish, tablet has some overpainting in the black. 41 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
