Bronze Ships Wheel Nautical Desk Clock. 2 tone bronze case with dark brown patina and gilt finish, in the form of a ships helm with anchor and compass; on a green marble platform with bronze base. 4.5 in. dia. silvered metal dial with black hour numbers, spade hands and large magnifying glass ball front crystal; brass spring driven 1 day time only movement has a pin pallet lever escapement and is running. 14 in. high x 10 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep. Weight: 12.5 lbs.

A nice desk clock, about 5″ in height, made by the Chelsea Clock Company, with a silver dialed timepiece in the form of a ships wheel mounted on a gimbaled frame and base. The antiqued finished brass case is engraved “H. S. Prentice 1948”.

Brass Chelsea ShipÂs Wheel Desk Clock. 2.5 in. silvered dial signed ÂChelsea with incised hour numbers and blued hands; brass 8 day spring driven time only movement with lever escapement, unsigned. In a brass shipÂs wheel style case on an hinged frame with mahogany base, 2 tone gilt and brown finish, in good condition. Engraving presented to ÂFrankland W.L. Miles Jr., President, Mass. Maritime Acadamy, Alumni Association, 1964-1967Â. Measures 5 in. high.
