Ships Bell Desk Clock w/ Barometer & Thermometer. Upright mahogany panel mounted with a ships bell clock, thermometer & aneroid barometer, each signed ÂH. Hughes & Sons Ltd., 59 Frenchurch St., London, E.C. and numbered 4518. Clock has a 5 in. silvered dial with black Roman hour numerals, black hands & brass 8 day spring driven French movement with platform lever escapement & ships bell strike on a bell at the top of the movement, forged brass case with a threaded flanged bezel. Matching aneroid barometer to the right with 5 in. dial and an 8 in. stick thermometer in the center with brass bezel. In good condition, running and original finish. 14 in. high x 22.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Low, New York & ÂChelsea ShipÂs Bell with black incised Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and silent/chime switch; typical 8 day brass spring driven movement signed ÂChelsea Clock Co., Boston, USA and numbered 638248, with lever escapement, has shipÂs bell strike on a coiled gong. Holosteric barometer has a 5 in. dial signed ÂChelsea w/ open center and arched Fahrenheit thermometer. Both are in forged brass ships helm cases with hinged door bezels and 2 tone case finish. Time mechanism is not running, clock strikes, both cases are in good condition with some surface tarnishing to the finish. 14 in. dia.

Cast Iron Wall Clock & Barometer. 4 in. upper aneroid barometer dial signed ÂJ.J. Wainwright And Co., BirminghamÂ; 4.5 in. lower porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, blued open moon hands and beveled door crystal, brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour strike on a bell, in good running condition. In a cast iron case with urn top, oak leaves, acorns, flowers and filigree; has a thermometer with silvered dial in the center. 26 in. high x 10 in. wide x 3 in. deep. Weight: 9.75 lbs.

Has a brass spring driven time only movement with lever escapement having a good balance wheel and running. 3 in. porcelain dial with black hands; mercurial stick thermometer in the throat with silvered dial indicating Fahrenheit and Centigrade, lower Aneroid barometer with dial showing ÂAdmiral Fitzroy’s IndicationÂ. The carved oak case has a light colored finish with filigree design. 23 in. high.
