Original 12 in. painted metal upper dial has black Roman hour numerals and is signed Seth Thomas, has blued spade hands; 10 in. lower calendar dial has 31 date Arabic numbers with cutout apertures exposing the month and day of the week, original paper labels on the calendar barrels, perpetual calendar mechanism is in very good working condition. Brass spring driven time only movement No. 6 ¾, signed S. Thomas, Thomaston, Conn. USA. in good running condition; dials have some minor inpainting in the centers. In a figure eight style rosewood case with serpentine crests and turned rosette mounts; in good condition and original finish. 32 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Original 12 in. painted metal time dial signed with Seth Thomas logo, has black Roman hour numerals and original spade hands; brass 8 day spring driven time only movement signed S. Thomas, Thomaston, CT. Original 10 in. lower calendar dial has painted 31 date calendar number, open apertures exposing the calendar barrels, reads Patented Feb. 15, 1876; original perpetual calendar mechanism with original barrels and labels. In a walnut figure 8 style case with mounted rosettes, signed with Seth Thomas paper label inside. Good condition, overcoated finish, top of the calendar dial is cut and has some inpainting at the top, time and calendar mechanisms are functional. 32.5 in. high x 15.5 in. wide x 5.25 in. deep. Weight: 13.5 lbs.

Seth Thomas Office Calendar No.6: with an 8 day time only spring wound movement. The time dial is 12″, the calendar dial is 10″. Both dials are original. In a walnut case with original finish. The bezels are rosewood stained.

(The time dial has dark scuff marks, the other has light craze lines. The case is showing some stress. One decorative wood button is missing.)

Description

Seth Thomas Office Wall Calendar No. 6 Clock: With a T&S movement; a painted metal upper dial marked “Seth Thomas”; and a painted metal lower dial that reads “Patented Feb. 15, 1876”; walnut case. The pendulum is with the clock.

Not tested.

(The paint on the lower dial is flaking and chipping. There is no key with the clock.)
